Business Degree Course Objectives
The degree course in Business Administration aims to provide a solid preparation in economic and business disciplines (declined both for functional areas and for classes of companies in various sectors) and acquire adequate mastery of mathematical-statistical tools and institutions of the legal system. The training course aims to develop the necessary skills to analyze business phenomena in complex economic and social contexts.
The course of study includes, in the first year, the terms contained in the SSD of the necessary training activities as well as the teaching of the characterizing disciplines; this to guarantee students who undertake the three-year course of study a solid basic training. In the second year, the system includes characterizing and similar courses aimed at making the course consistent with the specific training objectives; finally, the training course ends in the third year with free choice courses, the language test, the computer test (or the internship) and the final test.
The three-year degree course in Business Economics trains professionals suitable for carrying out managerial, consultancy, and entrepreneurial activities in the context of private and public organizations operating in real and financial markets. The study plan guarantees a fundamental multi-disciplinary training aimed at understanding modern business organizations’ functioning and economic systems and the primary connotations of the reference environmental context.
Graduates will develop good economic, managerial, financial, and legal disciplines, developing appropriate analysis methods and critical interpretation of corporate structures and dynamics.
The degree course includes training courses to address specific aspects of corporate management, management, and administration, particular types of companies and financial intermediation, and sustainability issues and principles. In line with the educational objectives, the degree course is, therefore, divided into didactic / training courses to enhance each student’s scientific-cultural attitudes and preferences.
Graduates in Business Economics will acquire a solid preparation in business disciplines (with reference, on the one hand, to the business system, on the other to accounting and financial statements) and economic and an adequate mastery of mathematical-statistical tools, of the principles and institutions of the legal system.
The training course will allow me to acquire a wealth of theoretical knowledge corresponding to the broad spectrum of professional fields accessible to the graduate in Business Economics and its possible continuation with the magistrates training. Knowledge And Skill Required
It is necessary to have a high school diploma or other qualification obtained abroad to access the Degree Course recognized as suitable. The recognition of the eligibility of qualifications obtained abroad for the sole purpose of admission to study courses is decided by the University, in compliance with the international agreements in force. The methods for verifying the knowledge required for an entry will be defined in the study’s Didactic Regulations, identifying any additional educational obligations if the verification is not complimentary.
Costs And Registrations
The cost of the tuition is € 3,000.00. For students with disabilities and those enrolled in one of the associations, trade unions, or entities affiliated with the University, unique economic benefits are provided. Payment can be made online in e-commerce mode or by bank transfer.
Registering is very simple, and you can do it at any time of the year, at no additional cost. You can register through the appropriate documentation to be downloaded and sent by post. Alternatively, you can go to one of our guidance centers in Italy or directly to our office to be assisted in the registration procedure you have chosen.
Upon receipt of the paper documentation by the General Secretariat, the registration will be notified by e-mail. The credentials (username and password) for access to the e-learning platform will be communicated to the user. Once the credentials have been received, to access the forum, it will be necessary to enter the username and password fields in the section Access the Study Areas on the website www.unipegaso.it.
The teaching methodology of the Pegaso Telematic University foresees the use of didactic paths consisting of learning objects (units of didactic content), in which multiple tools, materials, and services converge, which act in a synergistic way on the student’s training and learning path. The latter has:
- of video lessons available 24h on 24;
- the pantries of the course, with bibliographical references and notes;
- of the slides (enriched with text, tables, images, graphics) into an audio commentary by the teacher;
- the self-assessment test to check the tuning status.
Each student participates in the activities of their virtual class, coordinated by expert tutors. The guidance/consultancy activity is carried out by creating synchronous and asynchronous interactive virtual spaces (forums, web conferences, live sessions, etc.) or, in the case of requests for personalized clarifications, via e-mail.
The final assessment is carried out in presence at our offices throughout the country and is entrusted to the Commission appointed by the Rector and chaired by the teacher in charge of the discipline. The criteria adopted for the evaluation are determined by:
- the results of a certain number of intermediate tests (on-line tests to verify learning, development of papers, any laboratory activities, etc.);
- the quality of participation in on-line activities (frequency and quality of interventions that can be monitored through the platform);
- the results of the final test in presence at the university structures.
As part of each course, students are subjected, for each discipline, to an ongoing test, mandatory but not decisive for admission to the final exam, to monitor learning continually. The tests can consist of:
- tests (closed answers, open answers, multiple-choice, etc.)
- design documents.
